Game rules and hand rankings
Dragon Tiger is a two-hand card game. The dealer displays one card on the Dragon position (left side of the screen) and one card on the Tiger position (right side). Each card is drawn from a standard 52-card deck. Card values follow traditional rankings: Ace is low (value 1), numbered cards 2–9 hold their face value, and face cards (10, Jack, Queen, King) all equal 10. The hand with the higher card value wins. If both cards match in value (rare but possible), the round is a tie and tie bets win.
Your betting options are Dragon, Tiger, or Tie. Most players avoid Tie bets because they occur infrequently and have longer odds. Dragon and Tiger bets have nearly equal probability — roughly even money outcomes — so the payout is close to 1:1. Some tables offer a small bonus multiplier on Dragon or Tiger if you predict correctly; we display these multipliers before you place your bet.
Each round takes 15–20 seconds from bet-closing to card reveal. Our dealer burns one or two cards at the start of each round (a standard procedure to ensure fairness) and then draws the Dragon and Tiger cards simultaneously. The result is instant — no animation delays or artificial suspense. We log every card drawn and every outcome in your session history.
Dragon Tiger is pure simplicity — two cards, one outcome, next round. No hidden mechanics, no tie breakers. Either your prediction wins or it does not.
Bet placement and round timing
Before each round, our interface displays a countdown timer showing when betting closes. You typically have 10–15 seconds to place your bet. Once you select Dragon, Tiger, or Tie and confirm your stake, your bet is locked in. If you try to bet after the timer expires, your transaction is rejected and you return to the betting panel for the next round.
We accept bet amounts in Indonesian Rupiah. Our minimum bet per round is low to accommodate all players; our maximum protects against runaway sessions. You can adjust your stake in your account settings; changes take effect on your next round. We also offer quick-bet buttons so you can place the same bet repeatedly without re-entering the amount.
Live streaming and video quality
Our Dragon Tiger tables stream via HD multi-camera feed. One camera shows the dealer's face and upper body; a second shows the table surface and cards up close. We switch between cameras automatically so you always see the most relevant angle. On mobile phones, we adapt the stream to your connection speed — if your bandwidth is limited, we reduce resolution temporarily to prevent buffering. The stream quality preference can be set in your app settings.
We use adaptive bitrate streaming so the video remains smooth even on 4G LTE or WiFi. If your connection drops completely, we pause the stream and attempt to reconnect. If reconnection succeeds within 30 seconds, you rejoin the table and see the next round. If you miss a round due to disconnection, that round's outcome is logged server-side and your bet settles automatically based on the cards dealt.
Audio is optional. You can hear the dealer speak in English and chat with other players at your table. If you disable audio, you see cards and results with visual cues only. The dealer's chat messages appear as text on screen.

Mobile app performance and optimization
Dragon Tiger runs natively on Android 8.0+ and iOS 13+. Our app is optimized for screen sizes from 4.5 inches to 6.5 inches. On a phone, the streaming video occupies the center, with betting controls below and live chat to the side. You can rotate your phone to landscape mode for a wider video view. The betting panel remains accessible with a single tap.
We use low-latency streaming so the video you see is only 2–3 seconds behind the dealer's actual deal. This near-real-time experience makes you feel present at the table rather than watching a delayed broadcast. Our servers are located regionally to minimize latency for players in Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan, and across Indonesia.
The app caches dealer profiles and table layouts locally, so subsequent table joins load faster. Your first Dragon Tiger session may take 3–5 seconds to fully load; subsequent tables and rounds load within 1–2 seconds. If your device has limited storage, our app uses on-demand streaming so you do not need to pre-download large video files.

Live chat and table community
Each Dragon Tiger table hosts a live chat where you and other players can exchange messages with the dealer. The dealer reads and responds to chat messages between rounds, creating a social element alongside the game. You can disable chat notifications in your settings if you prefer to focus on gameplay without distractions. Chat messages are moderated; we remove messages that contain profanity or harassment.
The dealer does not discuss odds or provide betting advice. Dealers maintain neutrality and do not comment on which outcome they think is more likely. They may share casual conversation or answer procedural questions (e.g., "How long until cards are dealt?"), but strategy and prediction are entirely your choice.
Session history and account records
Every Dragon Tiger round you participate in is logged in your account. You can view your detailed game history showing the date, time, cards dealt, outcome, your bet, and your balance after each round. We retain this history for your entire account lifetime. You can download your history as a CSV file for personal tracking or analysis.
We also display a session summary each time you close the Dragon Tiger table. This summary shows your total rounds in the session, starting balance, final balance, and net win or loss. These summaries help you track your play patterns and understand your results over time.
Technical support and troubleshooting
If Dragon Tiger freezes or the video stream stops, first check your internet connection. Switch from WiFi to mobile data or vice versa to test if the issue persists.
